What exactly is the Naked Reflections podcast?
In this 15-minute clip, we combine material from three of our episodes, 'Nudging You to Act', 'The Changing Face of Human Conflict' and 'Who Gets the Blame?', to give you a glimpse into our fascinating series.
Chaired by Dr Ed Kessler, Founder Director of the Woolf Institute, Naked Reflections is a weekly panel discussion featuring experts from diverse fields discussing the issues that affect all of us. Whether our speakers are discussing 'How Much Can We Damage the Environment?' or 'What is a Good Death?', we encourage constructive debate around topical and often contentious subjects.
In partnership with The Naked Scientists, we pull two pieces from their catalogue to incorporate into our episodes, examining how questions relating to science, faith, politics, history and more are deeply interconnected. In our 25-30 minute episodes, we facilitate a space for dialogue between speakers including international academics, religious leaders, students, activists, journalists, politicians and medical experts and find out what they have to share about their experiences and research on some of these subjects.
You can listen and subscribe to episodes on our website or wherever you access your podcasts. We'd love to hear from you with any feedback or ideas, so please contact us at nakedreflections@woolf.cam.ac.uk with your comments. Happy listening!
