Does justice have to be served to bring about reconciliation? Or does the memory of some harms just fade away with time?

The problem with the idea of reconciliation is that no one would really say they are against it. And it can legitimately be used to refer to a huge range of outcomes, from the miraculous and hard won solving of age old disputes, to an agreement between two individuals about what to pay for something.
