Büşra joined the Woolf Institute as a Visiting Scholar for the Summer 2023.

Büşra is a PhD student in the department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Bursa Uludağ University in Turkey, currently conducting research on Christian perceptions of Jews and Judaism in early Christianity. Her main research interests are: anti-Judaism, Jewish-Christian relations in early Christianity and the history of Muslim relations with Jews and Christians.

Since 2014, she has been a funded researcher at the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation Centre for Islamic Studies (İSAM) in Istanbul as a part of Araştırmacı Yetiştirme Projesi (Researcher Training Project), which aims to provide financial support, academic training and assistance for graduate students to conduct research both within and outside of Turkey.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Büşra is the layout editor for two academic journals published in Turkey: Ilahiyat Studies and Oksident. She is also interested in making İznik style ceramic tiles.
