At the College of Wooster, she serves as a captain of the moot court team, a class representative on student council and as the student assistant for the Political Science Department. Alaina is a member of the Pre-Ministry Program at the College of Wooster, a group dedicated to helping students find their vocation. This year, Alaina represented the College of Wooster at Leaders Across Borders at Corrymeela Community in Ballycastle, Ireland.

Alaina is passionate about finding solutions to direct and structural violence through religious outreach. Last summer, she served as Research Associate for Housing at Trinity United Church of Christ in Wooster, Ohio, serving the unhoused and impoverished members of Wooster's community. Alaina hopes to alleviate suffering and violence through education, outreach, and social justice initiatives.
