Inter Faith Week 2020: What's Happening at the Woolf Institute?
The Woolf Institute combines teaching, scholarship and outreach, focusing on Jews, Christians and Muslims, to encourage tolerance and foster understanding between people of all beliefs.
Inter Faith Week 2020 takes place between 8 and 15 November 2020.
During Inter Faith Week, the Woolf Institute has a number of events (https://www.woolf.cam.ac.uk/whats-on/events) including the first in the webinar series, Religion and Society: The Role of Religious Buildings in a COVID-19 World. On social media, catch up with Woolf Institute staff who will talk about how they are taking their interfaith research and projects online. We will also offer 50% discount off the fee for the online course, Bridging the Great Divide: the Jewish-Muslim Encounter. Details of the course can be found at https://www.woolf.cam.ac.uk/study/online-courses/bridging-the-great-divide-the-jewish-muslim-encounter. (Use the code IFWBGD50 when applying for the course.)
Whatever you plan to do during Inter Faith Week 2020, we hope you can join us for these and other opportunities to gain refreshing perspectives on interfaith relations. Be inspired to impart this knowledge in your neighbourhood, community and workplace, and increase your understanding of interfaith.
