Bridging the Great Divide begins for 2018

16th January 2018

On Tuesday 16 January 2018, the online course Bridging the Great Divide: the Jewish-Muslim Encounter began for its 6th year.

The online course, jointly run by the Woolf Institute and the American University in Washington, is a unique transatlantic collaboration brought to life by the efforts of Dr Edward Kessler and Professor Akbar Ahmed. The course brings together participants from around the world to discuss and explore the complexities of interreligious dialogue, with students hailing from Singapore, Canada, Germany, the UK, US and the Czech Republic.

The course explores the history, culture and theology of Muslims and Jews, whilst offering practical strategies for building bridges between the communities.
