The Woolf Institute Lecture Series offers us the opportunity to listen to talks by senior British academics, politicians, and activists.

The first event as part of the 2019-20 series will be on Wednesday 6 November 2019 with a talk by Professor Joel Robbins entitled 'On the Possibility of Dialogue Between Anthropology and Theology'.

Joel Robbins is Sigrid Rausing Professor of Social Anthropology at the University of Cambridge. His work has focused on the anthropology of religion and ethics, and in particular on the anthropology of Christianity. He has recently been working on the intersection between anthropology and theology, and is currently finishing a book on this subject.
