Overview

Wrestling Jerusalem written and performed by Aaron Davidman. Watch the trailer.

In a land divided, hope begins in the heart. In this film, one man confronts many impassioned voices as he tries to open the heart of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Set in America, Israel and Palestine, Wrestling Jerusalem follows one man's journey to understand the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It is a personal story that grapples with the complexities of identity, history and social justice. Giving voice to 17 different characters – men and women, Jews and Muslims, soldiers and farmers, intellectuals and ordinary citizens – the film shines light on one of the most entrenched conflicts of our time.

Writer-Actor Aaron Davidman embodies 17 different characters in and around the sacred city of Jerusalem as he takes us on an eye-opening journey into the heart of the Israeli-Palestinian story. Exploring universal questions of identity and human connection, this film dares the audience to leave with their pre-existing ideas about its subject matter intact.
