Experiencing Differences and Diversities in Contemporary Germany

15th April, 2016

Humboldt University Berlin

As part of the Trust research project, Woolf Junior Research Fellow Dr Jan-Jonathan Bock is organising an international academic workshop in Berlin to examine the effects of increasing cultural diversity on German society - particularly in the wake of the ongoing refugee crisis. Scholars from Germany, Europe, and the United States will discuss the implications of an increasingly heterogeneous society, with consequences for other European countries. The workshop is co-hosted by the Alexander von Humboldt Professor, Sharon Macdonald. A subsequent publication is planned.
