Gender and Religion Today centres on a series of 5-minute videos, offering a fresh way to teach and consider religion through the lens of gender. In each, men and women, scholars and activists, share their thoughts and experiences about aspects of gender and religion.
Findings from the Woolf Institute research project, Religious Sisterhood: Encounters of Gender, Religion and Belonging in the UK, have informed the development of these resources for teachers searching for new, accessible materials to support classroom teaching across the UK National curriculum.
We showcased the first of these videos at the National Association for Teachers of Religious Education's Strictly RE Conference (30-31 January 2021).
