Life and Death in Islam and Judaism

As a Junior Research Fellow, Dr Marta Dominguez-Diaz pursued a postdoctoral research project at the Woolf Institute, comparing religious variations in attitudes towards death, dying and grief and the ways in which individuals and communities respond to death in Muslim and Jewish communities in Britain. This research formed the basis of the 2010 symposium Life and Death in Judaism and Islam, and contributed to the current training programme Diversity in End of Life Care.
