Westminster College, Madingley Road, Cambridge

On 24th-25th June 2015, the Woolf Institute convened a conference on Wittgenstein and Interreligious Communication.

Junior Research Fellow Dr Gorazd Andrejč  and Dr Daniel Weiss (Faculty of Divinity) brought together Wittgenstein scholars from across the world used to explore how Wittgenstein's thought has elucidated interreligious communication. Several Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist and Hindu thinkers were shown to have engaged with Wittgenstein while working on various kinds of discursive encounters between members of different religions.

This conference provided a unique platform for conversation on current theological and philosophical perspectives towards interreligious communication and Wittgenstein.
