Eva-Maria's main research focus lies at the intersection between religion and politics. She is particularly interested in the question of how religion still influences policy-making in a secular age. At the Woolf Institute, she works on a project which explores the response of Muslim religious communities to secular politics of sexuality and gender in England and Germany. Eva-Maria has published in high-ranking international journals such as European Journal of Public Policy, Politics and Religion, Parliamentary Affairs or the Journal of Public Policy. Moreover, her new book Morality Politics in a Secular Aage: Strategic Parties and Divided Governments in Europe is forthcoming with Palgrave this year. For more details, please see her homepage.
