Living in Harmony School Workshops

The Living in Harmony programme is generously funded by the KC Shasha Charitable Foundation and Dangoor Education. A continuation of the original Living in Harmony research project, the project focuses on conducting workshops in schools across Britain to enhance a sense of commonality among faith and non-faith communities living in Britain today.

This project focuses on the cultural and social implications of musical and social encounters between Jewish, Muslim, and Christian neighbours in the Middle East and Britain. Our workshops are tailored for school audiences and university students and explain how multiculturalism and music created a sense of communal belonging in the past and may continue to create a sense of commonality among various faith and non-faith communities in Britain today. We are currently offering tailored workshops for schools, University societies and youth clubs during 2021-2022.
