The Woolf Institute is recognised internationally for its expertise in researching and understanding relations between Jews, Christians and Muslims and with others in the communities in which they live. Our primary aim is to answer practical and theoretical questions concerning aspects of identity, culture and practice and to translate these into policy recommendations and outreach activities that improve relations between those of different beliefs.

For over 20 years we have been working towards building tolerance and foster understanding between religion and society. In order to continue creating practical outputs from our research and have a positive impact on society well into the future, we need to raise £35 million in endowment and other gifts. We aim to do so by the time we celebrate our 35th Anniversary in 2033 – 35 by 35.
