The Woolf Institute launches new Lecture Cycle
The Woolf Institute is delighted to announce a high profile series of lectures to mark its inaugural year in the new building. The Woolf Institute Lecture Cycle will give us the opportunity to listen to senior British academics, politicians, and activists.
The inaugural lecture on Wednesday 18th October will be delivered by Professor Robert Tombs, Emeritus Professor of French history, and author of the bestselling "History book of the Year" 2015 The English and their history.
Professor Tombs will talk about "Religion, identity and the state: France and Britain since the Enlightenment".
