Shabir Randeree CBE is a Trustee and former Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Woolf Institute until 2023.

He is an entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is the Chairman of DCD Group and has a background in Finance, Commercial Real Estate, Venture Capital and Banking. He was also the Chairman of Al Baraka Bank South Africa, the ex-Chairman of EIIB Bank plc and founding director at IBB Bank plc.

Shabir has served on the UK Government's Asia Task Force and the Ethnic Minority Business Task Force.

In the charitable and voluntary sector, Shabir chairs Prince's Trust International (to be renamed King's Trust International) and was Chancellor of The University of East London to 2023. He also served as Chair of Governors of the Westminster Academy between 2012-22.

In 2013, Shabir was awarded a CBE in recognition of his services to both business and education, as well as for his philanthropic support of charitable causes.

He graduated from Kingston University and has an MBA. He is also an alumni of London Business School and Centenary Fellow of St Edmund's College, Cambridge. Shabir was awarded Honorary Doctorates at Kingston University and the University of Warwick.
