Robert Glatter FCA
Robert Glatter was born in Antwerp, Belgium, in March 1937. He came to this country in 1939, his parents having escaped from Nazi persecution. Following his education, he trained as a Chartered Accountant and became a partner in Blick Rothenberg in 1967 where he remained until his retirement in 1997 and still continues as a consultant.
Amongst his many commercial achievements, Bob is Chair of the pension scheme for Bank Leumi (UK) plc where he is also chairman of the Bank's Pension Fund. He also holds the position of non-executive director of CP Holdings Ltd.
He is Honorary Life President of Maccabi GB and a Member and Trustee of Maccabi World Union. For many years, he was the treasurer of the Weizmann Institute Foundation and also Chairman of the North Western Reform Synagogue.
Bob has three adult children and he has a keen interest in sport, music and ballet.
