The Woolf Institute’s staff is made up of a dynamic team of people. Religiously, ethnically and internationally diverse, this sense of the individual along with the academic member’s varied but complementary interdisciplinary interests and expertise has, over the years, resulted in research projects and teaching programmes that cross and challenge common boundaries. The work of the main academic staff body is complemented by a team of affiliated lecturers and tutors as well as Visiting Fellows, each expert in their field, who contribute to our research and teaching.
Amongst the most important people at the Woolf Institute are our students and alumni. Since 1998 over 200 graduates have received postgraduate degrees in the study of Jewish–Christian relations, over 50 graduates in Muslim–Jewish relations, and over 2500 students have attended one or more of the wide range courses, including public education programmes. Alumni are encouraged to remain actively interested in the field through the Institute’s Alumni Association.
