Job Vacancy: Research Associate - Grant Writer
31 March 2014
The Woolf Institute is looking for a Research Associate - Grant Writer to join our dynamic and successful team within the Development Office. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and capable individual to work with the Deputy Director and the Associate Director of Development for 2 days per week on grant applications - both for ongoing and new research, as well as project funding.
The role holder will ideally have an understanding of interfaith work, and preferably experience of bid/grant writing. Project design and project management skills are desirable, but not essential. There is an opportunity 'develop the role' at the Woolf Institute, and for a candidate with aptitude and the right skills there are myriad opportunities to get involved in other aspects of the Institute's varied wider field of work.
Flexible working arrangements can be discussed, and therefore the role may suit a variety of circumstances. We will require the post-holder to frequently be in the office in Cambridge, but will consider candidates who are not based in Cambridge.
Please apply by sending a covering letter to email@example.com explaining why you want to work for the Woolf Institute, why you believe you have the right experience to join the Development Office, and what additional skills you might bring to the Institute's team. Please also include a copy of your CV. Closing date for applications is the 1st May 2014.
