Dr Sébastien Morlet arrives as Visiting Fellow

Dr Sébastien Morlet has arrived in Cambridge to begin his term as Woolf Institute as a Visiting Fellow.
A Maître de conférences (Assistant Professor) at the Université de la Sorbonne, Dr Morlet is a Classicist and a Patrologist in the Department of Greek. His work examines Christian polemics against Judaism (1st - 6th century CE), with a special interest in the work of Eusebius of Caesarea (c. 260 / 340), a major witness, and protagonist, of the ancient Jewish-Christian debate.
During his time at the Woolf Institute he will be holding a conference entitled: Ancient and Medieval Disputations between Jews and Christians: Rhetoric & Reality.
