Festival of Ideas 2012
13 September 2012
This Autumn the Woolf Institute will give two major lectures at the 2012 Festival of Ideas.
This University-wide celebration of arts, humanities and social sciences brings together over 150 free events, from lectures for adults, to performances and activities for all ages and is gathered around the theme of "dreams and nightmares".
On Tuesday 30th October Dr Edward Kessler will ask: "Is the dream of interfaith dialogue dead?", considering whether dialogue has lost its way, and if so, how can it be reimagined and what is its future?
On Thursday 25th October Dr Lars Fischer will address the future of Jewish-Christian relation, asking: "Is the study of Jewish-Christian relations in Europe still important?".
