Work of the Woolf Institute highlighted in House of Lords Jubilee Debate

6 June 2012

House of Lords

Last week Lord Jonathan Sacks moved a debate at the House of Lords on faith communities and interfaith relations in the UK during the past 60 years, in which he drew attention "to the gracious way in which the Queen has guided and sustained this nation through one of its most challenging transitions, into a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-faith society".

During the debate Baroness Neuberger highlighted the Woolf Institute as one of the examples of important developments since the Queen came to the throne.
