Bridging the Great Divide: the Jewish-Muslim Encounter
27 June 2012
Following its successful first year in which more than 30 students participated from all over the world (from the USA to Jordan, Pakistan, and the UK), the Woolf Institute, together with the School of International Service at the American University in Washington, is delighted to announce that applications are now open for Bridging the Great Divide: the Jewish-Muslim Encounter.
This 15-week e-learning course will explore the history, culture and theology of Muslims and Jews, reflecting both on similarities and differences as well as the major challenges. Assisted by leading scholars in the US and Europe with a wealth of experience in this field, the course will also offer strategies for building bridges between the communities.
The course will start the week commencing 27 August 2012. The deadline for applications is 6 August 2012.
