CPE Faith & Localism Launch
7 February 2012
This pilot project will address some of the most complex policy issues confronting local and central government today– the effective delivery of public services, the participation of local communities in furthering their own welfare, and the role of faith-based organisations in society.
Beginning with a breakfast briefing on 7th February, attended by John Bird MBE and representatives of local business and social enterprise, this project aims to develop a locally-grounded but nationally applicable model of best practice for religious and faith-based organisations (RFBO's) and local government.
Key partners include:
- Taylor Vinters
- Cambridgeshire County Council
- The East of England Faiths Council
- Business in the Community East
- The Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (The Judge Business School, The University of Cambridge)
