JCME E-Learning Course returns

On Monday 5 September 2016, the e-learning course, Jews, Christians, and Muslims in Europe: Modern Challenges, commenced for the 6th time with participants hailing from Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Malta, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, the UK and USA.
This timely three-part course focuses on the relationships between Jews, Christians and Muslims in modern Europe. It examines historical trends, religious and cultural interaction, and issues of contemporary citizenship from the perspectives of different disciplines (history, sociology, theology, philosophy). The course is led by Dr Gorazd Andrejč who co-teaches with Dr Sami Everett and Dr Esther-Miriam Wagner.
Topics for this year include Minority Experiences: Jews and Muslims (France), Secularism and the Muhammad Cartoons (Denmark) and Religion in European Public Sphere (UK and Beyond).
