COLLOQUIUM: Christian Anti-Judaism in Baroque Music

On the occasion of Michael Marissen's tenure as a Visiting Fellow at the CJCR from September to November 2012, the CJCR is holding an international colloquium on Christian Anti-Judaism in Baroque Music. The colloquium will offer the main speakers an opportunity to speak about their relevant work in some detail and give plenty of time for in-depth discussion. The main speakers are:

Michael Marissen (Daniel Underhill Professor of Music. Swarthmore College & Visiting Fellow, CJCR)

Ruth HaCohen (Associate Professor, The Artur Rubinstein Chair in Musicology, Hebrew University)

Jeanne Swack (Professor of Musicology, University of Wisconsin, Madison)
